A little about Spirit Intermediary Acupressure
Spirit Intermediary uses a system of acupressure based bodywork similar to acupuncture. It is grounded on the treatise that the body is a network of energy pathways known as meridians. These meridians circulate and carry vitality and life force (known as qi in Chinese) throughout our bodies.
These meridians have points often known as acupuncture points, acu-points or pressure points. While Spirit Intermediary uses gentle fingertip pressure to activate these points, they can also be activated using needles, pressure, laser, electrical signals or heat.
When these meridians become blocked, flow in excess, become impeded or otherwise do not flow correctly, our faculties suffer and may present with mental, emotional, physical and/or psycho-spiritual symptoms.
Treatment involves diagnosis to determine and treat the causative factor. It works by helping to activate and regulate the body’s own system to correct these impediments and optimise the flow of vitality to the problematic faculties. This helps the body to repair and restore itself.
